Certificate Awarded: Certificate Holder in Guided Care Nursing
Once you complete eligibility requirements to take the assessment-based certificate examination and successfully pass the exam, you are awarded: Certificate Holder in Guided Care Nursing.
ANCC offers an assessment-based certificate program in collaboration with the Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing. Candidates must complete the guided care nursing course offered by the Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing prior to taking the ANCC assessment-based certificate exam. Candidates that successfully complete this course and exam will receive a certificate in guided care nursing which can be used on their resume and business cards. Successful candidates will be issued an ANCC assessment-based certificate indicating validation of successfully demonstrating his or her knowledge in the guided care nursing course.

ANCC will be applying to the Institute for Credentialing Excellence for national accreditation of its assessment-based certificate programs.
