Guided Care Nursing

Certificate Awarded: Certificate Holder in Guided Care Nursing

Once you complete eligibility requirements to take the assessment-based certificate examination and successfully pass the exam, you are awarded: Certificate Holder in Guided Care Nursing.

ANCC offers an assessment-based certificate program in collaboration with the Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing. Candidates must complete the guided care nursing course offered by the Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing prior to taking the ANCC assessment-based certificate exam. Candidates that successfully complete this course and exam will receive a certificate in guided care nursing which can be used on their resume and business cards. Successful candidates will be issued an ANCC assessment-based certificate indicating validation of successfully demonstrating his or her knowledge in the guided care nursing course.

Registered nurses (RN) are eligible to take the Guided Care Nursing course offered through IJHN. For more information about the guided care nursing course offered through the Institute for Johns Hopkins Nursing, please visit www.ijhn.jhmi.edu

ANCC will be applying to the Institute for Credentialing Excellence for national accreditation of its assessment-based certificate programs.

Applications must be submitted by e-mail or mail. You may apply for this computer-based test year round and test during a 90-day window at a time and location convenient to you. The exam allows 2 hours to answer 100 questions.

Fees
The fee for the initial assessment-based certificate examination is included in your course registration fee.
