of Practice
Psychiatric and mental health
nurses have expertise
in psychiatric and mental health nursing practice, understand
personality development theories, and understand the behavior patterns
involved in the treatment and case management of mental illness.
Practice in this area also requires knowledge of the expected effects
of treatment on client behavior and of the relationship the behavior
has to nursing care
Eligibility
Criteria
All requirements must be completed prior to application
for the examination.

|  | Have practiced the equivalent
of two years full time as a registered nurse |
