View the Application Process

The Magnet TM application and appraisal process is recognition of a health care organization's attainment of excellence in nursing. It is also a rewarding and valuable educational experience for an organization seeking focus and direction for growth and development. The process is thorough and lengthy, demanding widespread participation with the applicant organization's nurses. Health care organizations find the journey to be a revealing self assessment—creating opportunity for organizational advancement, team building, and enhancement of individual professional self esteem.
