  Provides examples of effective, evidence-based peer review models and examines the outcomes relative to the reviewer's level and role within the nursing structure. Course participants identify the role of peer review in sustaining an environment that supports professional practice.  During the course, participants evaluate barriers to peer review, design strategies to overcome barriers, and explore effective communication techniques.
