  • Redesignation: New Generation, New Approach
    To provide Nursing Executives/Administrators, Managers, Magnet Project Directors/Coordinators and staff nurses with current information and resources to assist in decision making for their redesignation journey.

  • The Magnet Model: Overview
    Learn or review the five components of the Magnet Model in this fast-paced one-day workshop.

  • Journey to Magnet Excellence Workshop
    This workshop presents the participants with the structure, purpose and evolution of the Magnet model; explains the 5 componenets of the Magnet model as they relate to a professional nursing practice and describes the role of critical thinking, creativity and innovation in transforming nursing practice.

  • Evidence Based Practice: Creating a Culture of Inquiry
    The workshop focuses on establishing a spirit of clinical inquiry, formulating clinical questions, critiquing literature, and developing evidence based protocols and guidelines to improve care.

  • Leadership in Action: Making Shared Governance Work Workshop
    This workshop will help nursing leaders learn to coach their staff to implement or improve their Shared Governance model. It will provide nursing leadership the needed elements of change management to facilitate a successful implementation of a professional practice environment. Executive Leaders and Managers will learn the role change needed for successful execution of Shared Governance.

  • The Magnet Model: Exploring the Sources of Evidence Workshop
    At this one-day workshop, learn to interpret and document some of the Sources of Evidence for the journey to Magnet excellence.

  • Magnet Program Director: Coordinating the Journey to Excellence
    This one-day workshop presents detailed information about the components of the initial application, the document review, and the site visit. During the workshop, participants will identify tools and strategies to organize the journey and motivate staff throughout the organization.

  • Peer Review - Growth and Development Workshops
    This one-day workshop provides examples of effective, evidence-based peer review models and examines the outcomes relative to the reviewer’s level and role within the nursing structure.

  • Resources for Excellence: Healthcare Organizations and Faculty Collaboration
    This one-day workshop focuses on the Forces of Magnetism as they relate to collaboration and engagement of resources between Schools of Nursing and healthcare organizations on the journey to nursing excellence and Magnet recognition.

  • Shared Governance: A Culture of Empowerment Workshop
    This one day workshop explores the history of its development, the benefits of Shared Governance and assesses the level of Shared Governance within your organization.

  • Transformational Leadership: Change IS Good
    This workshop facilitates an understanding of change in socially complex systems, and examines strategies and activities to conduct gap analyses at the beginning of and during the Magnet™ journey.
