Order 2008 Magnet Recognition Program® Manual - Recognizing Nursing Excellence

The 2008 edition of the Magnet Recognition Program ® Manual is now available. ANCC is particularly proud of this edition which is based on the 5 model components structured to focus health care organizations on achieving superior performance as evidenced by outcomes.

The Manual is effective October 1, 2009 for all applicants and Magnet recognized organizations. August 1, 2009 is the last written documentation submission cycle in which organizations may use the 2005 Manual. Please note that there are key eligibility requirements that become effective January 1, 2009 for all designated and applicant organizations.

ANCC Earns Prestigious International Certification for Operational Excellence

The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) has successfully achieved ISO 9001:2000 certification for professional services rendered in the administration of the Magnet Recognition Program® for excellence in healthcare organizations and the Accreditation Program for excellence in continuing nursing education.
